Jardin du Monde: play, discover, help a garden grow

What if playing a game could bring a little landscape to life? With Jardin du Monde, we invite you on a new journey: discover games, solve puzzles and help gardens grow at your own pace.

This app began with a simple idea: bring together the pleasure of thinking and the joy of watching a landscape come to life. A little break to enjoy on your phone or computer, for one game… or a few.

A journey that starts with a game

The world map invites you to explore games associated with different countries and traditions. Try Shisima from Kenya, peg solitaire associated with France, Japanese Koi-Koi or Spanish Escoba. Ghana also joins the journey with our adaptation of the Abapa variant of Oware.

Line up pieces, find a combination, capture cards or plan your next move: each game offers a different way to think. Rules and discovery notes guide you along the way. We explain which variants we have chosen, because traditional games often have several ways to play.

You do not need to know them all before you begin. Pick a game that sparks your curiosity and take your time getting to know it.

Your rewards, your garden

In the games on this journey, your successes add seeds, water droplets and stones to a shared reserve. You then choose which garden you want to grow.

You may enjoy one game and prefer the landscape of another country. You do not have to match them: save your resources, explore the map and use them wherever you would like to see more life appear.

Each garden has its own needs. As you move through the stages, plants flourish, flowers appear and the landscape changes. Some completed landscapes gently come to life: rippling water, a light breeze, a small movement to discover… We will leave you the surprise.

Two stops for puzzle lovers

Alongside the world map, two games have worlds of their own.

Trees & Tents challenges you to find the right place for each tent, following the clues and the rules about neighbouring tents.

Garden Plots invites you to divide a grid into rectangles: each number tells you the area of its plot. As you solve the grid, illustrations are revealed. You can then continue the discovery by putting a picture back together, or simply move on to a new grid.

These two games have their own progression, separate from the world gardens. A chance to change the mood without leaving the app.

A first version to discover together

Jardin du Monde is still growing. New games, new landscapes and improvements will enrich this first version.

We invite you to try it and tell us about your experience. Which game makes you want to come back? Which garden have you chosen? Is a rule difficult to understand? If you encounter a problem, please tell us which game you were playing and whether you were using a phone or a computer.

Your feedback will help us make the journey more enjoyable for everyone.
