These general terms and conditions define the conditions under which a person may join the Les Chevaliers de l\u2019Astr\u00e9e<\/strong> project, place an order on chevalier-de-lastree.com, and access the elements, services and content associated with their membership or order.<\/p>\n

They apply to orders and memberships concluded at a distance through the website.<\/p>\n

Placing an order implies that the purchaser has read and accepted these terms and conditions in accordance with the arrangements provided during the checkout process.<\/p>\n

3. Nature of the project<\/h2>\n

Les Chevaliers de l\u2019Astr\u00e9e<\/strong> is a project devoted in particular to the discovery, transmission and enhancement of living nature and natural and cultural heritage.<\/p>\n

Depending on the offer presented at the time of ordering, membership may give access to a personal space and to various content, documents, activities or experiences connected with this world.<\/p>\n

The essential characteristics and price of each offer are presented on the website before the order is confirmed.<\/p>\n

4. Referenced plots<\/h2>\n

Certain memberships include the allocation of a real, located and referenced Chevalier plot<\/strong> within one of the Estates associated with the project.<\/p>\n

This allocation creates a personal link with a precisely identified portion of an Estate. It does not transfer ownership and confers no real property right and no private right of use over the land.<\/p>\n

In particular, it does not constitute:<\/p>\n

  • a sale or transfer of land;<\/li>\n
  • a transfer of ownership;<\/li>\n
  • a lease or rental;<\/li>\n
  • the creation of a real property right;<\/li>\n
  • a right of occupation or private enjoyment;<\/li>\n
  • a right of exploitation;<\/li>\n
  • an exclusive right of access to the land.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The references, geographical coordinates, maps and certificates associated with a plot are intended to identify it and locate it precisely within the relevant Estate.<\/p>\n

    These elements certify the reference allocated as part of the membership, but constitute neither a title deed nor a land-registry document<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    5. Membership<\/h2>\n

    Where an offer includes membership, its characteristics are those stated on the corresponding product page at the time of ordering.<\/p>\n

    Membership is personal, except where an offer is expressly presented as a gift for another person.<\/p>\n

    Access to certain areas, content or activities may require the creation or activation of a personal account.<\/p>\n

    Login details allowing access to that area must be kept confidential.<\/p>\n

    6. Ordering for oneself or as a gift<\/h2>\n

    Where the offer allows it, an order may be placed for oneself or for the benefit of another person.<\/p>\n

      11. Right of withdrawal<\/h2>\n

      Where the purchaser acts as a consumer and the applicable rules grant this right, the purchaser benefits from the statutory withdrawal period applicable to distance contracts.<\/p>\n
