\n \n What does membership of Les Chevaliers de l\u2019Astr\u00e9e mean?<\/span>\n <\/span>\n <\/summary>\n

Membership allows you to join a community devoted to nature, living heritage and transmission.<\/p>

Depending on the chosen formula, it may be associated with one or more real, located and referenced Chevalier plots<\/strong> within an estate presented, managed or supported by the association. This creates a personal, association-based and memorial link with the place, without transferring ownership or granting a right of use.<\/p> <\/div>\n <\/details>\n

\n \n Do members become owners of the land?<\/span>\n <\/span>\n <\/summary>\n

No.<\/p>

The land and estates may belong to the association, to individuals, to legal entities or to public bodies. Their owners and managers retain all their rights.<\/p>

The assignment of a Chevalier plot is not a sale, lease, rental, concession, real property right, exploitation right or right of use. It does not create any property tax or ownership-related charge for the member.<\/p> <\/div>\n <\/details>\n

\n \n What is a Pied Carr\u00e9 du Roi (Royal Square Foot)?<\/span>\n <\/span>\n <\/summary>\n

The Pied Carr\u00e9 du Roi is a historic unit of area used in France before the Revolution.<\/p>

Les Chevaliers de l\u2019Astr\u00e9e use it as a reference unit for Chevalier plots. One Pied Carr\u00e9 du Roi, or PCR<\/strong>, represents approximately 0.1055 m\u00b2<\/strong>.<\/p>

It provides the same reference unit across all estates and gives the project a common, easily identifiable measure.<\/p>

The PCR does not turn the plot into real estate owned by the member: it is used to designate and locate the real portion of land associated with the membership.<\/p> <\/div>\n <\/details>\n

\n \n How can I find my plot?<\/span>\n <\/span>\n <\/summary>\n

Each Chevalier plot has a reference and a location. Precise information can be accessed through the QR code and the personal tools provided by the association.<\/p>

To protect the places and their access, precise locations are reserved for authorised members and require acceptance of the Chevalier Charter. A reference or location may be corrected or adjusted when necessary to fix an error, preserve the environment or ensure safety.<\/p> <\/div>\n <\/details>\n

\n \n Can the estates be visited?<\/span>\n <\/span>\n <\/summary>\n

Yes, when an estate is expressly indicated as open, when an invitation or event is organised, or when authorisation is granted.<\/p>

Possessing a card, QR code or location does not create a permanent right of access. A visit may be limited, postponed or suspended for safety, weather, works, operational or nature-protection reasons.<\/p> <\/div>\n <\/details>\n
